As the car and design evolved, a 2.0 liter engine made its way into the 1980 model year, and was marketed as the Spider 2000. A small but nimble sports car was meant to compete with the likes of Triumph, and MG, and this is evident in the look of the car, being an amalgamation between the 3 car companies.

This 1981 Fiat Spider 2000 overall is in great shape and includes a folder full of service receipts and we even have the original window sticker.
