Anyone who has shopped for a classic car knows if you look for one of the typical classic Ford vehicles, like the Mustang, of the early 60s vintage, you pay a fortune for the cars. Some of the other Ford classics are still decently affordable, such as the 1962 Ford Galaxie 500 Sunliner Convertible seen here. This beautiful car appears to be pretty much restored, complete with a two -tone interior consisting of blue and white.

The carpet and full interior look great, and the car has a white power soft convertible top that appears in good condition. The body is coated in dark blue paint and looks great overall. The 1962 Ford Galaxie 500 Sunliner Convertible has power drum brakes front and rear along with a rebuilt 390 cubic-inch big-block V8 that we don't believe to be original to the car. Also it has been upgraded with a 4-spd, bucket seats and a full console!

That 390 cubic-inch engine is paired up with a four-speed manual transmission. All the trim pieces are there and are shiny and clean. A stock radio still sits in the dash, and overall, the car looks great and with the upgraded features it make it a pleasure to drive. The car now has a four-barrel carburetor. A dual exhaust system was added but is dumped mid-section on the car ( Tailpipes could be added if desired).

This beautiful Galaxie 500 Sunliner has spent most of its life in California. The car was purchased from California in 2002 and then was restored to how you see it today. Extremely clean undercarriage shows how solid the car is with no major rust issues or repairs found.
